On July 4, 2019, a lecture with the theme “Tubig na Limpyo, Para sa Inyo”on the importance of safe water and water treatment and purification methods was held during the Family Development Sessions (FDS) for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) recipients in barangay Lumbayao. A total of 84 residents, from the morning and afternoon sessions, attended the lecture. During the lecture, the importance of water was discussed, along with the different waterborne diseases that can be obtained from contaminated water. Additionally, different methods of water treatment methods were taught to the attendees, including boiling, solar disinfection and chlorination.
