A 1-day First Aid Training was held last January 26, 2019, in coordination with the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) and the Tampilisan Emergency Response Team (TERT). A total of 32 participants attended the said event, including the barangay captain and selected barangay councilors, the barangay health workers, and volunteer representatives from each of the seven puroks of Lumbayao. Various topics were discussed, including disasters, emergency response and first aid of common injuries in the community. Proper cravat folding, bandaging of various wounds, and emergency transport of the wounded were taught by the lecturers. Afterwards, a return demonstration was performed by the participants.
