Last January 23-24, 2020, Team Lumbayao, in coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the barangay council, held a basic life support training and fire prevention lecture in the barangay covered court. The Tampilisan Emergency Response Team (TERT) taught the barangay officials, barangay tanods, barangay health team and other volunteers about basic life support skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and rescue breathing. The trainees were then asked to do a return demonstration on the skills they’ve learned, applying them on adult, child and infant dummies. A total of six trainees completed the program and were awarded certificates of completion.
